I was born Jewish but, after my parents divorced early and decided to travel the world , I was raised in Burgundy by a French Nanny, Lulu, who had the best heart in the world but was not affiliated to any religion or church: that's why I ended up not receiving any religious education as a child, neither Jewish nor Christian…

Throughout my entire adult life, I had felt that some solid education /foundation was missing to allow me to make any real determination when it comes to my spiritual and religious connection.Decades later, after finding the right synagogue in Chabad of Fort Lauderdale, we immediately felt at home and formed a bond with their Leader/ Founder Rabbi Moshe Meir Lipszyc.With him, I undertook Hebrew and Torah classes every week for months towards receiving a proper Bar Mitzvah’d in Spring 2023, finally becoming a proper adult in the eyes of the Torah at the ripe age of 62.

These cufflinks are an hommage to My Rabbi, with its unique design inspired by the Chabad logo, the Hebrew letters of his name and his taste for beautiful cufflinks.It is a gift of appreciation from my heart for who he is as - a true Mensch- and beeing such a great Mentor and spiritual guide through one of the most important journeys of my life.
